God's Love for Teenagers

When you are a child you think like one, and you act like one, but when you grow up you won't anymore, because although you see Him in a fog right now, soon it will become very clear. like you are looking in a mirror.

In fact when you see Him as He is, you will recognize yourself in Him (1 John 3:2-3). The truth is that you can't act like who you really are if you don't know who He really is. He is quite awesome, He is love defined, displayed and unraveled in you, to you and through you.

A Supremely Satirical Look At Keeping Your Kids Close

I can’t be the only one missing my grown up kids.  And although I am totally happy with how they are and what they’re doing, still I want them home.  Is that so wrong?  However, they’re running off to places far and wide in pursuit of “a life of their own.” If you’d like some terrible ideas about how to induce your kids to hang around more and longer, read on.

Grace For Everyday

Grace For Everyday

Grace

Grace is the love and the beauty that lives through my imperfections. Grace is knowing that whether fur is flying or fur is sleeping quietly on the sofa, His love for me never changes. Grace is the fact that whether my kids choose those crisp collars or a crop top they are loved and qualified in Him. Grace is the sparkle against the black back-drop of my messy day to day. Grace is the free invitation to enjoy the life I have, and the journey that each person in my life has been given.

If you’ve noticed that “Christian Parenting” has not been part of the burden-lifted life Jesus came to give us and that few people are actually enjoying it, then take a few minutes for this satirical look at how mom and dad have been deceived into a role that isn’t Christian.

Smell The Flowers

Every retouched photo begins with a imperfect person. Every season has its share of natural disasters. Take heart, on the other side is a break in the clouds, a lesson learned, and within it all, God continues His purpose within you. He doesn't leave, he doesn't always fix things in the way we want, but He has given us His strength, His peace, His mind, and His spirit, so you are well equipped. He is the only one who is perfect and His spirit needs no re-touching regardless of our preconceived ideas. Have faith in that everyday.
