Life is to Be Lived

Life is to Be Lived

Believe It

He isn't waiting on you to prove yourself, He came to you. Did you read that right? He came to you! He saved you. You don't have to worry that the salvation He brought is so fragile that something you can do will return it void or insufficient. After all He is God!

A Talk About Motherhood

God's Got This

I have good news! It’s ok not to be perfect. It’s normal to blow it on occasion. It’s expected to have a messy house sometimes.Give yourself a break, admit your weakness and accept His strength, His love, and even His humor. Once again I want to reinforce that God's got this!

Does Behavior Matter?

Does Behavior Matter?

Grace and Behavior

We are so blessed to live in an era of grace, to live on this side of the cross, where the love of God and the righteousness of the saint in Him is solid. Grace isn’t something new it’s just a newly unveiled reality to myself and a lot of people around the world. As we grow in this understanding there is a freedom that is almost indescribable and expresses itself differently in each of us depending on what way we experienced bondage. Does it matter what we do as we function in this grace?

God's Love for Teenagers

When you are a child you think like one, and you act like one, but when you grow up you won't anymore, because although you see Him in a fog right now, soon it will become very clear. like you are looking in a mirror.

In fact when you see Him as He is, you will recognize yourself in Him (1 John 3:2-3). The truth is that you can't act like who you really are if you don't know who He really is. He is quite awesome, He is love defined, displayed and unraveled in you, to you and through you.

Parenting Advice

For those of us who have or have had teenagers, you know the difficulty. For those of you who have not had this experience let this article be fair warning. The struggle to maintain discipline and control is real. In fact, I would say maintain the discipline but throw control out the window.

"Our Diet For Life"

"Our Diet For Life"

Who Can Maintain?

Religions are like fad diets from sin. Fad diets are designed to help you lose weight, help you become better. Some may find temporary success. But generally after the initial trial the person goes back to old habits and the condition we started with is even worse than before. Can anyone relate to this? I've tried various fad diets, low carb, no fat, etc... Nothing wrong with these things they just aren't permanent solutions. What is the permenant solution for life?

The Reckoning

The Reckoning

Agreeing With The Truth

What are the debits and credits of our own spiritual accounting? Romans 6 speaks of the debit being our old man, our old self. The credit is the life that we have in Christ. The debit is law and the credit is grace. The debit is sin and the credit is righteousness. Then in verse 11 he says, reckon yourselves. In other words, something has happened to you in your spiritual account, now reconcile that in your mind. Compare what is really true to what you think is true, and then make those adjustments in your soul. That is the reckoning.
